GCER recently supplied a vertical PVC-U tank for storing sodium hypochlorite (bleach).
This equipment has a diameter of 1,600 mm, a height of 1,700 mm, and a total capacity of 3 m³, offering a storage volume perfectly suited to the customer's operational needs while ensuring safe and sustainable use in demanding industrial environments.
The tank is made entirely of PVC-U (unplasticized polyvinyl chloride), a material known for its excellent chemical resistance to oxidizing agents such as sodium hypochlorite. This material ensures high durability of the equipment and optimal protection against corrosion, even under intensive operating conditions.
To ensure better mechanical resistance and optimal structural stability, this tank is equipped with external reinforcement in GRP (glass-reinforced plastic). The combination of PVC-U, known for its chemical resistance, and GRP, valued for its high mechanical performance, results in equipment that is lightweight, robust, and durable. This design makes it perfectly suited to industrial constraints, particularly in terms of hydrostatic pressure, stability, and longevity in service.
